Tour of natural beauty around Oldenzaal

Your route starts at Restaurant Klein Afrika. Around Oldenzaal it is nice to cycle through a landscape full of natural beauty. You will soon cross the Dinkel and drive through the Lutterzand. In the gently rolling landscape you cycle through forests with Scots pine, birch and oak. As you drive between the trees on the unpaved Vrijdijk, you look out to Germany on the right. Further on you will find a small-scale landscape of grasslands, heathland and fens. In Denekamp you can still experience the real Twente conviviality. Here you will see, among other things, the thirteenth-century St. Nicholas Church. Just outside the village you cross the Dinkel again, this time on the idyllic Singraven Estate. On the west side of Oldenzaal you cycle through the Hulsbeek recreational area with its beautiful lakes.
