Description
It is wonderful to travel for miles around Lisse. Soon after boarding you cycle into Lisse. Here you will pass the monumental St. Agatha Church from 1903. Further on is't Huys Dever, a fourteenth-century keep. In the polders you can enjoy the wide views. In spring and summer the fields here turn into colorful strips of flowers. You pass the old deciduous forest of the former Leeuwenhorst estate, and a little later you see the monumental lighthouse of Noordwijk aan Zee appearing on the horizon. It dates from 1923 and has a beam height of over 33 meters. In the dunes you can enjoy the peace and natural beauty. Finally, you will pass the Keukenhof. At Restaurant Hanami Lisse it is time for a meal on the terrace.
