Around Oirsbeek and Schinnen it is a beautiful walk through the hills. Here you see a mosaic of meadows and forests. You will also pass some historical sights.
Flour mills
You walk straight into the fields. You will pass the hamlet of Klein-Doenrade, further on you will see two flour mills. The Molen van Dortants dates back to 1802. In 1920 it largely burned down, only part of the hull has been preserved. The Janssen mill dates from 1878 and has the status of a national monument. In Oirsbeek you pass the Sint-Lambertus church with its striking tower, some beautiful old buildings and farms.
Krekelberg
You walk over the Krekelberg, a hill that is just over 100 meters high. You walk through a beautiful beech forest. On the west side you pass the monumental Maria chapel from 1939. In Schinnen you pass the originally twelfth-century Sint-Dionysiuskerk.'t Laantje cuts through the Wolfhagerbos that runs along the brook the Kakkert. At the end of this road is the beautiful white Wolfhagerderhof.
