Crossing the border to Sippenaeken

From the Geuldal you quickly enter Sippenaeken. In this village you often hear Limburgish or even Dutch being spoken. A little later you climb to the Beusdaelbos. Look back from the edge of the forest, so that you can catch your breath with a beautiful panorama of the hilly landscape. After the forest you will be walking for a few kilometres through the green countryside. It is wonderful to walk here. And enjoy the peace and quiet. The last few kilometres are not always the hardest. When you descend you enter one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Netherlands. It seems as if time has stood still here. The route starts and ends at Camping and restaurant Rozenhof, enjoy a snack and a drink here after the route. Stay overnight to enjoy this area the next day.
