Trappist beer
In the Gaume you notice that life is influenced by the French pace. In the vast forests and idyllic stream valleys you will experience an unprecedented tranquility. It is not surprising that you will also find Orval Abbey here. This abbey was originally founded in 1070. After the destruction during the French Revolution, the abbey rose from its ashes in 1926. The only remaining building of the former abbey has recently been beautifully restored. You will find information about brewing Orval, among other things.
