Description

From here you cycle to the Germanic well, a reconstruction of a water point that stood here around 300 BC to provide the fields at the Wekeromse Zand with water. The Luntersche Buurtbosch was constructed around 1890 by notary Van den Ham. While cycling you will also regularly see old farms or churches. In Lunteren you will cycle past the monumental station building from 1902. Near Terschuur you will pass Den Olden Florus, one of the oldest still existing post mills in the Netherlands. The exact year of construction is not known, but it is certain that this still active corn mill was already there before 1584. The first mention of this mill even dates from 1403. The mill has been renovated regularly over the centuries.
