Tour of Beneden-Regge and Hellendoorn

On the border of Twente and Salland you will find plenty of villages worth seeing, Saxon farms - and peace and quiet. It's fun cycling here! Be sure to get off at Eerde Castle in the Reggedal. A little later you drive through the Earlier Achterbroek: an ancient landscape of meadows, hedgerows and bushes. You will also pass the former manor of Egede, of which only the eighteenth-century building remains. Drop off at Lorkeers Brood banquet - Lunchroom in the pleasant village of Hellendoorn! The Lemelerberg is a moraine of about sixty meters high. Between Dalmsholte and Giethmen you look out over the Dalmsholter Vlier. This centuries-old flieren landscape consists of lower wet grasslands that are divided into narrow and straight plots (the so-called flieren). Here you will see characteristic rows of trees and old farmyards.
