Walking through the Geleenbeek valley around Munstergeleen

From Abshoven you walk around Munstergeleen. Just outside Abshoven you will explore the Absbroekbos, a forest area of approximately 70 hectares. You then set course for Abshoven through the vast landscape of the Geleenbeekdal, this nature reserve was redesigned in 2016 so that more natural landscape would be created. This creates more space for the stream, cultural history and recreation. Perfect for a lovely walk through here. Brasserie Abshoven is the base of this route. Drink a nice cup of coffee here before you set off or relax here after your trip with a nice lunch or dinner. The brasserie is located in a beautiful old church, which gives this restaurant a special atmosphere.
