Brasserie Abshoven

Eating in an old church may sound a bit crazy, but it is actually very special and surprising. Experience it yourself at Brasserie Abshoven on the edge of Munstergeleen. This church is the only remnant of a monastery complex that stood empty for years. The old elements of the church are beautifully combined with cozy furniture in this brasserie. This creates a special and cozy ambiance. Enjoy a nice cup of coffee, a beer or something tasty from the kitchen here. How about a piece of homemade pie, soup, sandwiches, salads or a hot meal for dinner? That will certainly be appreciated after a long bike ride or a walk. If the weather is nice you can sit on the terrace behind the church. On the terrace you can enjoy a snack and a drink with a view of the Absbroekbos. The terrace is sheltered by a piece of ruin that remains of the monastery.
