This route takes you through an open and quiet landscape around Spakenburg. Cycle along the water of the Eemmeer and the Eem and enjoy the endless views over the green fields. The only buildings in this area can be found in places such as Baarn.

From here you cycle to Bunschoten and Spakenburg through a beautiful landscape full of vast meadows that are crossed by ditches, old farms, polders and dikes. After your tour you can take a look at royal Baarn. You will find numerous castles here, but the most famous attraction in Baarn is undoubtedly Soestdijk Palace. This has been the residence of Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard for many years. You will also find Drakestein Castle in Baarn, where Princess Beatrix lived for a long time.
