Scourge landscape
At Goeree-Overflakkee you will find a pleasantly varied landscape. One moment you're driving through the forest, then you're shooting through the meadows and suddenly you're driving along the banks of the Grevelingenmeer. Around Ouddorp you can still see authentic scourvelingen: planted sand banks of about one and a half meters high that are used as a boundary. You pass the RTM Remise visitor center and, a little further on, past Lighthouse Westhoofd, a national monument from 1950.
