The route starts at the city park in the center of Lier. You can stroll along the pond with white pedestrian bridges. Lier is a city with a historic center on the Nete. You can experience culture and all the beautiful places are within walking distance of each other, the most famous being the Zimmer Tower, a medieval tower named after watchmaker Louis Zimmer.
