Sint-Gummaruskerk

The Saint Gummarus Church is a fine example of Brabant High Gothic. If you look closely at the tower, you will recognize the shape of a pepper pot. Inside, the light leads you to higher spheres. The 800 kilo silver shrine of the Lier patron saint St. Gummarus is carried through the city center every year during a procession. Copyright photo: Mie De Backer
