Cycling route: 4515467
Provided by: route.nl
This cycling route starts at Pannenkoekenboerderij Kernhem. A little further on you can climb the Goudsberg, the geographical center of the Netherlands, or the De Hessenhut lookout tower for a beautiful view. The Hessenweg, an old trade route from Germany, runs straight over the hill. Then you drive to the Wekeromse Zand, where you will find actively drifting sand. It is a historic area: at the Vijfsprong, where you cycle past, you will see P02 - Celtic Fields, reconstructions of centuries-old fields measuring 40 by 40 meters. You will also find a recreated farm and storehouse or warehouse from the Iron Age. A viewing platform offers a beautiful view of the entire complex. Then you drive straight through the forests for which the Veluwe is known. You drive back via Boerderij Mossel, a nice coffee stop in the middle of nature.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
