Cultural history tour in Doesburg

Your route starts at Stadshotel Doesburg & Restaurant De Kade. Today you will take a beautiful city walk through the Hanseatic city of Doesburg, one of the few Dutch cities that has been so well preserved. The medieval street pattern is still completely intact. In the beautifully restored old town you will see many characteristic monumental buildings and beautiful fortifications. You will pass several museums, such as Museum de Roode Tooren. In this regional museum you can admire a replica grocery store from 1890, a working tobacco mill from 1894 and a model of the old ship bridge.
