Tour of castles near Geulle

Your route starts at't Gäöls Heukske. With this route you kill three birds with one stone: you walk through the Limburg Meuse Valley, through beautiful villages and past beautiful castles. Enjoy a day of the many beautiful things that South Limburg has to offer! In Geulle aan de Maas you can see the beautiful St. Martin's Church. Just outside the village of Geulle is the outer castle of Geulle Castle. Elsloo Castle is the eye-catcher of the protected villagescape in Elsloo, a picturesque town on the Maas. Around Elsloo you walk through the hilly landscape for which South Limburg is known. Sometimes it is a bit of a climb, but your effort is rewarded with beautiful views. So worth it! There is plenty of heritage to see along the way, such as characteristic square farms and old churches.
