Tour of castles near Geulle

With this route you kill three birds with one stone: you walk through the Limburg Maas valley, through beautiful villages and along beautiful castles. A day of enjoying the many beautiful things that South Limburg has to offer! In Geulle aan de Maas you can see the beautiful Sint-Martinus church. Just outside the village of Geulle is the outer bailey of Geulle Castle. Elsloo Castle is the eye-catcher of the protected village view in Elsloo, a picturesque town on the Maas. Around Elsloo you walk through the hilly landscape that South Limburg is known for. Sometimes it is a bit of a climb, but your effort is rewarded with beautiful views. So worth it! Along the way there is plenty of heritage to see, such as characteristic square farms and old churches.
