Van Gogh NP walking route Nuenen

This varied walking route (10 km) in the footsteps of Vincent van Gogh takes you through the beautiful nature and past the heritage of Nuenen. Vincent van Gogh lived and worked here from December 1883 to November 1885. He created almost a quarter of his entire oeuvre in Nuenen and painted his first masterpiece there: 'the Potato Eaters'. Nuenen and the surrounding area can be seen as an open-air museum. Nowhere else are there so many buildings, statues and landscapes that have a direct relationship with Van Gogh. Walk through Vincent's place of family life and inspiration

This walking route leads you from the center of Nuenen to the Het Nuenens Broek nature reserve, which is being returned to a more natural state. A good example of how Brabants Landschap is committed to preserving Vincent van Gogh's landscape. Further on in this walk you will pass old hamlets and the church village of Gerwen, where Vincent drew the St. Clemens Church. You can't get any closer to Vincent!
