Tour of Schuilenburg and the Regge

This route starts at Lorkeers Brood banket - Lunchroom in Hellendoorn. Take a look at the De Wippe mill, a corn mill that was built in 1821. The mill is named after the so-called 'Wippenbelt' on which the mill was built. The route also leads past the beautiful Schuilenburg Estate. Here you can experience the past on the redeveloped castle grounds with an authentic Bouwhuis and Sagenschuur. On the atmospheric terrace you can enjoy coffee, tea and something tasty. Also try the special regional beer 'Helders Goud', which contains local wheat, for example. You walk back through the beautifully meandering Reggedal, where a lot of nature management has been done in recent years. The water meanders through a picturesque farmland, nice to take in before you walk into Hellendoorn.
