Between Someren and Weert it is beautiful to cycle through the Brabant and Limburg nature. First you drive to Someren-Eind, a mining village that emerged in the second half of the nineteenth century. On car-free roads you drive past vast meadows and fields. Further on you pass through Sluis 13, a hamlet that grew up around a lock in the Wilhelmina Canal. In Limburg you drive through Boeket, a hamlet where you see some old farms and the St. Anthony Chapel. Further on you cycle through the Weerterbos and the adjacent Hugterheide, two nature reserves that form the northernmost part of the Kempen-Broek border park. On the Vroolijke Jager estate you pass a farm from 1831 where a war monument has been placed. The route ends with a delicious meal at Valentino Someren.
