Walking through nature under Ommen

Just below Ommen you can take a beautiful walk through the varied nature. First you take a look at Landgoed Het Laer. There was already a manor here in the fourteenth century. The current building in classicist style dates from 1742. You walk through the forest to the banks of the Regge. You cross the river, after which you arrive at P14 at a charming drawbridge that is part of the old church path between Giethmen and Ommen. You walk along the banks of the Regge towards the Besthmenerberg. On the flanks of this hill you walk through coniferous forests and over a heath. You pass through Besthmen, a hamlet where you see some old hall house farms. At't Laarbos Pannenkoeken & Meer you can enjoy a delicious meal.
