Cycling route Breda and Oosterhout

Experience the rich cultural history and vast nature of the Barony of Breda. First you drive through one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands: the Ulvenhoutse Bos. Then you cycle through the Markdal to the Ginneken. On the centuries-old Ginnekenmarkt you will see some monumental mansions and the village pump from 1790. The Reformed Church dates from the fifteenth century. You cycle at your leisure through a leafy part of Breda, and you also pass the canals. On the edge of the city you suddenly look out over the meadows of the Lage Vucht nature reserve. You cycle through the forests of the Vrachelse Heide to Oosterhout. At junction 4 you pass through the Holy Triangle: a protected village view. You drive back to Wilgenhart via Boswachterij Dorst.
