E-bike village route Sallandse Heuvelrug

Here you drive through a mosaic of streams, forest plots, meadows and arable lands. In picturesque villages such as Luttenberg and Raalte you see monumental churches and Saxon farms. In Luttenberg there is a Marian grotto that was built in 1915. Salland is not a flat region. It undulates a bit here, which makes the coulisse landscape extra lovely. Sometimes you have to climb a bit, such as in the quiet forests near the Hellendoornse Berg. The view is always a nice reward for your effort. On the Luttenberg you see birches, pines and heather. You can visit the Sallands Landbouwmuseum De Laarman here. What started with the purchase of a tractor has grown into a fully-fledged agricultural museum that is housed in a striking building.
