Sallands landbouwmuseum De Laarman
Museum De Laarman is located in a former mill. The building stands on top of the Luttenberg and from here you have a view of the vast landscapes of Salland. In this museum you will learn more about the regional agricultural culture in all its austerity. Interactive presentations have been set up on the basis of themes. For example, learn more about the veterinarian or the work of the farmer. In addition, the operation of the old mill has been restored. The farmer used to grind his grain here. Behind the museum you will find a blacksmith shop and a carpentry workshop, where you can get started under supervision. This way you can experience how crafts were practiced in the past. The museum is open all year round from Tuesday to Friday. From November to April, the museum is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. During the rest of the year, the museum is open on weekends.
