Tour of hilly Salland: Nijverdal and Rijssen

This route introduces you to the beautiful nature around Nijverdal. First you cycle to the Reggedal. Here you drive through a vast landscape of herb-rich grasslands. In Rijssen you can stop for a snack and drink at Restaurant De Stadsboerderij Rijssen. A little later you pass the Schildkerk, which originally dates from the Middle Ages. Just below Rijssen you cycle through the Dutch Black Forest. Here you drive under imposing deciduous trees on winding and gently sloping paths. A little later you can take a look at the Holterberg Nature Diorama, after which you cross the National Sallandse Heuvelrug. You drive several kilometers uninterrupted through the woods, wonderful! You also pass through the heathland that borders the Haarlergberg. At Grand Café Toi Toi you can enjoy a drink on the cozy terrace.
