In the land of the Dinkel

In Twente you cycle through the small-scale es landscape as it was already shaped in the early Middle Ages. You see old estates and authentic Saxon farms, such as in Groot Agelo. You also come across the river Dinkel a few times, including on Landgoed Singraven. Here you see a manor house, a centuries-old water mill and a coach house from 1868. It is one of the most beautiful places in Twente. In the Lutterzand you see a mix of sand drifts, heathlands and forests with birch and oak. At Eetcafe't Lutters Kwartier it is time for a break on the cozy terrace. Further on you cycle a bit along the leafy banks of the Canal Almelo-Nordhorn. After getting off you enjoy a meal and overnight stay at Hotel Cafe Restaurant De Landmarke.
