From Dalfsen through the Vechtdal

This route takes you through the Vechtdal near Dalfsen. Here you will find a landscape of meadows, fields and tree-lined paths. You will soon pass De Stokte. This lookout tower is about 20 meters high, from the top you have a beautiful view of the forests, the Vechtdal and of course the river itself. After you have crossed the Vecht, you drive for a while along an old Vechtarm. You pass through Vilsteren, an estate village where you see beautiful monumental buildings and characteristic Saxon farms. The Vilsterse Molen is a flour mill from 1901. You cycle through the wooded area to Hessum andrechteren. Just below Dalfsen you pass Huize Den Berg, a manor from 1705.
