From Beesel along the Maas to Venlo

Cycling along the Maas between Beesel and Venlo is beautiful along flower-rich floodplains. You pass through historic villages, such as Kessel. Here you will see, among other things, the Church of Our Lady's Nativity from 1873. Keverberg Castle is a former ruin that has been beautifully renovated, the building is definitely worth a visit. Further on you take a trip to the Boekenderbos, where you cycle among the fragrant conifers. The Dubbroek is a nature reserve in an old Meuse bed. Here you see ash, pedunculate oak and black alder. Around junction 59 you seem to cycle back in time thanks to some beautiful old farms. In Venlo you cross the Maas and cycle to the picturesque Steyl. Back in the historic heart of Beesel, it is time for a terrace at Mert 5.
