Tour of Rhenen - along the blue room

A nice walk along the Lower Rhine. We start at nursing home de Tollekamp and walk to the Rijnbrug. On the other side continue our way via the Marsdijk in the direction of Opheusden. On the way we pass Fort Spees and a replica of a Roman watchtower. We take the ferry to Wageningen and arrive in the nature reserve De Blauwe Kamer. We walk through the blue room and admire this nature reserve where the Rhine can flow broadly at high tide. There are many birds to see so we walk as quietly as possible. Then we climb up the Grebbeberg and take the path along the Koningstafel. From there we walk back to the city.
