Romeinse wachttoren

A Roman watchtower used to stand roughly on this spot. That was one of the many watchtowers that lined the border of the Roman Empire. This border followed the Neder-Rijn, just as the border between Utrecht and Gelderland does today. This replica of the watchtower was placed here in 2016.
