Tour of Lage Vuursche and Drakensteyn

Your route starts at Restaurant De Egelshoek. It is wonderful to walk in Boswachterij de Vuursche, a series of old estates. This route takes you to the hamlet of Lage Vuursche and Drakensteyn Castle. Lage Vuursche has a protected village view because of the beautiful eighteenth and nineteenth century houses. It's wonderful sampling here! The beautiful Stulp Church originally dates from 1659. Drakensteyn Castle is located close to the church. This castle originally dates from the fourteenth century, the current building dates from 1640. You cannot visit the building unless you are an intimate of the current resident: Princess Beatrix. Then you walk back through Lage Vuursche Forestry, through a mix of deciduous and coniferous trees. You can fully enjoy the peace and greenery.
