Tour of Tilburg and Regte Heide

The Oude Warande is one of the few well-preserved star-shaped forests in the Netherlands. Around 1600, Tilburg had already become Brabant's most important wool town, and in the eighteenth century, the textile industry that made the city great in the nineteenth century emerged here. Check out the new addresses around Piushaven! Below Riel, you'll cycle along the edge of the Regte Heide, on a lovely cycle path that winds through the trees. Further on, you'll pass the Nieuwkerk estate, where you'll find several beautiful farms and a charming monastery nestled in the woods. You'll also discover the Bels Lijntje, a cycle path along a former railway line to Belgium.
