You cycle to Netersel, one of the so-called Eight Beatitudes: Eersel, Duizel, Steensel, Knegsel, Wintelre, Reusel, Hulsel and Netersel. In the past they were called 'de selligheden', or 'the beatitudes'. Dutch soldiers who were stationed here during the Belgian Revolution mockingly called the villages 'the poor beatitudes'. The beautiful old villages are typical of the Brabant Kempen with their many long-façade farms. Then you cycle a bit over Landgoed De Utrecht. It was developed in 1898 as an investment by life insurance company De Utrecht, hence the name. It is now wonderful to cycle here through the vast and varied forests.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
