Round Bieslandse Bos from Nootdorp

The Bieslandse Bos is a special nature reserve in the middle of the Randstad. Put on your hiking boots for a nice trip. After a cup of coffee at Grand Café 1837 you get started. First you pass through Wandelbos Laakweg, a newly planted forest that belongs to the Bieslandse Bos. You can still see young trees here, there are also swamps and water features. A wonderfully quiet piece of nature, ideal for relaxing. The Bieslandse Bos was created around 1985 for wood production, but now has a recreational function. Here you will find a variety of forest, swamp, roughness, swamp forests and open polder. The Bieslandse Polder was pumped dry around 1780. After a cup of coffee at De Balije Tuin and a stopover at your starting point, you walk through a green suburb of Nootdorp.
