Tour of the Sallandse Heuvelrug from Deventer

Cycling in Salland is ideal if you want to switch back for a day. This route takes you through the quiet scenic landscape and through the forests of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. It is wonderful to cycle miles here, it seems as if this beautiful area was created especially for cyclists. Especially in the forests on the edge of the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park. Every now and then you have beautiful views of the vast rolling heathland. While cycling you will see some characteristic Saxon farms. Further on you pass through hamlets such as Dijkerhoek. Here you pass the Hegeman, a flour mill from 1890. Via the nice village of Lettele you drive back to Deventer, where you cycle along the Singel for a while.
