Description

Your route starts at ZOT sea on the table. From here you can take a nice walk along all of The Hague's highlights. You pass the Binnenhof, the center of Dutch politics for centuries. Museum de Gevangenpoort is a unique medieval gatehouse, one of the three entrance gates to the castle of the Counts of Holland (now the Binnenhof). Here you can see how prisoners were locked up, tried and punished from the 15th to the early 19th century. You also pass Noordeinde Palace. This working palace of King Willem-Alexander originally dates from 1640. The Peace Palace was built about 100 years ago and laid a solid foundation for The Hague as an international city of Peace and Justice. You also pass through the Scheveningse Bosjes, a nature reserve and protected cityscape from 1400.
