Tour of Meijendel, Wassenaar and The Hague highlights

Your route starts at ZOT Zee on the table, a nice place to enjoy a nice fresh fish after your route. From Scheveningen you can cycle straight into nature. This is Meijendel, a vast and varied dune and nature reserve. Deep silence reigns in the lee behind the dune. At Wassenaar you will discover the Landgoederen Backershagen and the Wiltzanck. The Backershagen park, designed by Zocher, is publicly accessible. Landgoed Wiltzanck is characterized by the beautiful tea dome, which you can clearly see from the road. You cycle straight through the greenery into the center of The Hague, where you stumble across Dutch history. The Binnenhof has been the political center of the Netherlands for centuries. In the Middle Ages this was the castle of the Counts of Holland.
