Your route starts in Wijlre. You cycle past Wylre Castle and follow a part of the meandering Geul. Then you drive into the hills to Ubachsberg. Here you can enjoy beautiful views. Get off at Herberg de Bernardushoeve to take it all in.

Your route starts in Wijlre. You cycle past Wylre Castle and follow a part of the meandering Geul. Then you drive into the hills to Ubachsberg. Here you can enjoy beautiful views. Get off at Herberg de Bernardushoeve to take it all in.
In Simpelveld you pass the main station of De Miljoenenlijn, nice to have a look around. The historic locomotives are beautiful to see, but also take a look at the authentic station restoration. At Eys you can stop at Brasserie Eyserhof or Eyserhalte, a delicatessen full of regional products. Then you drive along the Gulpenerberg to the Geul. Just outside Mechelen, take some time for a coffee break at a beautiful half-timbered farm: Hoeve de Plei!
Via the hamlet of Holset you drive up the Vaalserberg to the Drielandenpunt. Then you drive a bit through Belgium. In the Voerstreek, stop at De Swaen for a snack or a drink in the courtyard of this square farm. You drive to Gulpen via the nice villages of Noorbeek and Mheer. Back in Wijlre, stop by Brasserie Amuseer. Fancy a beer? The Brand brewery is practically in our backyard!
