All of the Heuvelrug (part 1): from Odijk to Bussum

Based on Heel de Heuvelrug (2005): 7 rounds of Heuvelrug tied together. Set up to do the combined route (i.e. as a grand tour) in four days from Odijk (in combination with train travel) without hotel overnight stays. Ideal parking on the Singel in Odijk (compared to P+R at the station). The entire route including connections is 300km.

Part 1 from Odijk to Naarden (with return journey from Naarden-Bussum station).

From Odijk to Driebergen-Zeist station and then to Slot Zeist. Through the Zeister forests to Hotel Oud-London (between Zeist and Austerlitz). Via junctions 10 and 84 to junction 54 in Soesterberg. To junction 53. From here over the runway of Soesterberg air base to junction 9 in Huis ter Heide. Please note: during the skylark breeding season the runway is closed and you have to go via junction 50 to junction 9 in Huis ter Heide.  Then via Bilthoven and through the Ridderoord forests to Hollandse Rading. Past Hilversum airport (lunch?) and along the edge of Hilversum to 's-Graveland. Through the Corversbos and the Spanderswoud to Zanderij Crailo (coffee). Continue through the Spanderswoud west of Bussum to junction 34. Break the route here by driving to Naarden-Bussum station and take the train back to Driebergen-Zeist. The next stage (2) continues the route.
