Tour of Chaamse Bossen and Mastbos

Between Breda and Tilburg you cycle from one vast forest to another. The route starts at the edge of the Markdal. As you drive along the meandering river, you look out over reed collars and flower-rich sparse grasslands. You then drive through several contiguous forests: the Ulvenhoutse Bos, the Sint-Annabos and the Prinsenbos. Some forest plots in this vast forest area are centuries old! You drive through the Brabant cultural landscape to Gilze. You cycle into the Chaamse Bossen with renewed strength. Via a few characteristic Brabant hamlets you make a shortcut to the next nature reserve: the Strijbeekse Heide. Further on you pick up the cycle path along the Mark again. Finally, you drive a few kilometers through the Mastbos. What a beautiful day!
