Gorssel - Bussloo - natural beauty

In the rural area of Gorssel you drive through a mosaic of forests, small-scale landscapes and flower-rich fields and fields. On the Molenweg you will see the Noorsche Huis. This building was purchased in Norway in 1913 as a kit. In Gorssel itself you can visit Museum MORE, which is dedicated to modern-realist art from the Netherlands. At KP 27 you take the ferry across the IJssel in a beautiful area of the IJssel floodplains. You immediately drive through the old farmland of the Wilpse Klei, a quiet floodplain landscape where you can still see old farms on mounds. Further on you cycle through the woods at the Bussloo recreational area. The nature around Bussloo is beautiful in every season. The lake was created by sand excavation for the A1 highway. It has an area of 100 hectares and is approximately 12 meters deep.
