Gorssel - Bussloo - natural beauty

In the outskirts of Gorssel you drive through a mosaic of forests, small-scale landscapes and flowery fields and fields. On the Molenweg you can see the Noorsche Huis. This building was bought in Norway in 1913 as a kit. In Gorssel itself you can visit Museum MORE, which is dedicated to modern-realistic art from the Netherlands. At KP 27 you take the ferry across the IJssel in a beautiful area of the floodplains of the IJssel. You immediately drive through the old farmland of the Wilpse Klei, a quiet floodplain landscape where you can still see old farms on mounds. Further on you cycle through the woods at the Bussloo recreation area. The nature around Bussloo is a picture in every season. The lake was created by sand excavation for the A1 motorway. It covers an area of 100 hectares and is about 12 meters deep.
