Your route starts at De Meinweg Visitor Center, where you can immediately drink a cup of coffee at De Boshut. Via Rijstal Venhof (also with a nice terrace) you enter De Meinweg National Park with its unique terraced landscape. Here you drive a bit through Germany, a little later you cycle back into the Netherlands. From junction 81 you drive on a beautiful winding path through the forest and past heathlands. One of the most beautiful cycle paths in Limburg!
Near junction 95, put your bike aside to take a walk along the most beautiful spots in the Bospark, of the former Franciscan college Sint Ludwig. You will now find MERU, a center for transcendental meditation.
Here you will discover one of the Happiness Spots of Roerdalen: the most beautiful locations, selected by locals. Further on you will discover even more Happiness Places: The Club Path of Saint Ludwig, The Weeping Willows of the Kerkberg, The Aerdmannetjes of Aerwinkel Castle and The Cathedral of the Munnichsbos. Also stop at the Basilica of Sint Odiliënberg, a beautiful spot. You cycle back via Daelenbroeck Castle - with a beautiful terrace in the courtyard!
