Description
Very nice round with our toddler and preschooler at the front and back. The first stretches were a road with some cars, but on this Ascension Day these were noticeably absent. After that, mainly cycle paths or roads without passing cars.
Before you even arrive at point 98, you will pass't Ossekopke. A nice spot in the middle of the beautiful Ruckphen forests. Plenty of choice for coffee or lunch with a nice playground. Shady. A bit of faded glory, but the children don't care.
Then a super beautiful stretch between 98 and 41 straight through the beautiful forest. On the border between NL and Belgium there is a red and white striped customs booth with an 'intermediate pole'. Here you can read the story about the former smugglers and Klaveren Vrouwke.
From there we took a short detour to De Bosrust. Fantastic place with good food and a super large, well-maintained playground. Prices very high, I thought the sandwich was 4.20, but yes, a nice, well-maintained spot with sun loungers and no entrance fee...
