Tour of The Hague highlights and Scheveningen bushes

This city walk starts at Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade. You can walk straight into the center through the Scheveningen woods. In the stately residential city you will stumble across Dutch history. The Binnenhof has been the political center of the Netherlands for centuries. Museum de Gevangenpoort is a unique medieval gatehouse, one of the three entrance gates to the castle of the Counts of Holland (now the Binnenhof). Here you can see how prisoners were imprisoned, tried and punished in our country from the 15th to the early 19th century. You will also pass Noordeinde Palace. This working palace of King Willem-Alexander originally dates from 1640.
