Vijfheerenlandenroute

You start the route in the glass city of Leerdam. You really cannot miss a visit to the Glassworks or the Hofje van Mrs. van Aerden. You soon leave the town behind you when you cycle into the polder. How wonderful...there is still room here! Via Leerbroek and Meerkerk you arrive in Vianen. A nice stopover to refuel and take some time to take in the beautiful historic town! You continue your route through the vast farmlands of the Vijfheerenlanden. Where you previously cycled across the border with Utrecht, you cycle at the Diefdijk on the provincial border with Gelderland. the cycle tour ends when the Linge and the church tower of Leerdam come into view again.
