If you want to make a pit stop, Geel has many nice restaurants and terraces to choose from, especially along the market. Geel has a number of tasty regional products, such as the Geels Hartje. This is a double heart-shaped butter cookie with a filling of apricots and marzipan. Beer lovers order a Zeunt beer. In the Geel dialect, the word zeunt refers to regret: according to the brewers, it is a shame if you have not tasted their beer. Zeunt cheese is a slightly bitter cheese that is immersed in a bath of Zeunt beer for several days during ripening.

Past Geel you drive into a natural area where the river Grote Nete flows, among other things. The landscape consists of a mix of wet grasslands, coniferous forests, moist heathland and fens. Due to its ecological and cultural-historical value, this landscape under the hamlet of Bel enjoys protected status.
Back in Mol you can also enjoy Burgundian life here. There are several cozy terraces and cafes in the town for a drink or snack. Like every Belgian town, Mol also has its own beer: Molder, a regional beer based on hand-picked gale. Also try the Molse Zander, a pike-perch fillet that used to be caught in the local sand pits. Molse Zandzakskes are chocolate tablets that are sold in small jute bags.
