Walking through estates near De Lutte

In the countryside of De Lutte you can enjoy beautiful walks through nature. A large part of the route you walk on unpaved roads along fields and farmland and through estate forests. Ideal for a day of relaxation. You start this route at Landgoed Hakenberg. A villa was built on top of a hill in 1927 that is still privately owned. The grasslands around the farms are mown and hayed sparingly, so that blue sedge and other nutrient-poor species grow. On the edge of De Lutte you can take a break at Fietsterras & Winkel Tante Lies. The second part of the route you walk through the extensive Landgoed Egheria that lies around the Tankenberg. The estate was built in 1908 by order of a textile manufacturer. How peaceful it is here!
