Description
This route takes you through the woods and past country estates between Baarn and Bilthoven. Soon you will pass the National Military Museum, which is highly recommended. After junction 97 you drive across Landgoed Eyckenstein, this country estate originally dates from the seventeenth century. Further on you drive through Lage Vuursche, which enjoys a protected village view. The Stulpkerk originally dates from 1659, the current Drakensteyn Castle dates from 1640. On the edge of the Hooge Vuursche you will pass Landhuis Drakenburg. At Pannenkoekenboerderij De Wildenburg you can enjoy something tasty before cycling to the eighteenth-century Groeneveld Castle. Soestdijk Palace is a former seventeenth-century hunting lodge that has been expanded over time. At junction 69 you cycle over the Soester Eng, which enjoys a protected village view.
