Description

Your cycling route starts at Camping De Koeksebelt. This route takes you along the Archemerberg. The Archemerberg is part of a moraine that was created during the last ice age. To the west of the mountain there are drifting sand areas, the result of fires, felling, cutting and cutting. As a result, drift occurred easily and the sand blew up into dunes. The Archemerberg and Lemelerberg together form a large nature reserve with mainly forest and heathland. Sheep check the vegetation on the heath near Den Ham and Ommen. The route takes you to a sheepfold on the edge of Den Ham. This cage was used to make manure around 1800. After a day of frolicking on the heath, the sheep still find their shelter there at night.
