Beautiful stream valleys, forest fens and inland dunes: the wet forests of the Leudal are a picture! All around you will discover nice church villages and beautiful Maasplassen.
Aldenghoor Castle
Aldenghoor Castle is the first attraction on your route. The most striking feature of this imposing building is the heavy round tower with spire from around 1700. Then you cycle into the nature reserve Het Leudal, one of the most beautiful in Limburg. Here you pass De Leumolen. It was first mentioned in 1558, but is possibly much older. The Friedessemolen (built in 1617) is also a beautiful watermill.
Beegderheide
Further on you can get off at Café Maneslust Biej Mieke. The St. Petrus in Roggel was built in 1901, the St. Antonius in Heythuysen dates from 1861. Along the lakes at Heel and through the forests of the Beegderheide you drive to Horn. At Eetcafé Aan de Kirk you can enjoy a delicious meal here.
