Aldenghoor Castle
Aldenghoor Castle is the first attraction on your route. The most striking feature of this imposing building is the massive round tower with its spire, dating from around 1700. Next, you'll cycle into the Leudal nature reserve, one of the most beautiful in Limburg. Here you'll pass the Leumolen windmill. It was first mentioned in 1558, but it may be much older. The Friedessemolen (built in 1617) is also a beautiful watermill.
Beegderheide
Further on, you can stop at Café Maneslust Biej Mieke. St. Peter's Church in Roggel was built in 1901, while St. Anthony's Church in Heythuysen dates from 1861. You'll cycle along the lakes near Heel and through the woods of Beegderheide to Horn. Enjoy a delicious meal at Eetcafé Aan de Kirk.
