Dike area Kesteren

Walking route through the outskirts of Kesteren.
You start in the center of Kesteren at a supermarket, an ice cream boutique and a Chinese restaurant. The route takes you almost directly to the dike that runs along the Rhine. Along the way you take a trip to a recreated Roman watchtower. There is also a vantage point with a view of the De Blauwe Kamer nature reserve.
Then you go down the dike to continue your route directly along the Rhine. The last part of the route goes through Kesteren again, passing a café - restaurant and the old village church.
